Press Release # 03/07

Audessence Moves In!

A New Home For A New Company…

The UK's newest professional broadcast and Internet audio company, Audessence, has just completed the move into its new premises in West Sussex.

Reflecting the company’s focus on technology research and development, the offices at Bolney Place are located in a quiet, well-appointed country house.  Close to the A23, the London to Brighton rail line and Gatwick Airport, Bolney Place has excellent transport links and is less than an hour’s travelling time from Central London.

The manufacture of Audessence products will be handled elsewhere but staff at Bolney Place as well as carrying out research and development will also be responsible for final testing and QA of all products and, importantly, for coordinating the company's sales and marketing operations.

According to managing director, Martin Spencer: "We considered a wide range of possible locations at which to base operations, including various traditional industrial units.  In the end, we concluded that a modern electronic design and sales company simply doesn't need that type of accommodation.  What's essential today is a place suited to creating and delivering good ideas".

Audessence is planning an open day at its new offices for later this summer.  More details will follow nearer the time.

INFORMATION FOR EDITORS: About Audessence:

Audessence is a professional audio equipment company which specialises in the design, manufacture and sale of audio processing and broadcast equipment for radio and TV, Internet, and educational markets.

The company was formed in early 2007 by managing director, Martin Spencer, who was previously technical director of Radica Broadcast Systems Limited.  Martin has many years of experience working in professional broadcast audio, including extensive collaboration with U.S. manufacturer Inovonics Inc, most recently on the Omega_FM digital audio processor.  Martin is joined by Sales and Marketing Director Graham Sloggett, who has considerable experience of international technical sales in general and the broadcast equipment field in particular.

Our initial product range is for audio levelling, or AGC (Automatic Gain Control).  Immediate future products will broaden the range to include other types of compressor-limiters for studio use and further broadcast audio processors.
