Press Release # 04/07

12th July 2007

Audessence Signs First Distribution Agreement.

P Squared to supply Audessence products to broadcast industry and beyond….

Following discussions held at the annual NAB Convention in Las Vegas, Audessence has finalised its first UK distributor agreement with broadcast audio software experts, P Squared.  The deal will see P Squared offering Audessence audio control products as part of the company's hardware packages, sold primarily into the education sector.  In addition, the company will also offer Audessence products as a stand-alone option to enhance the performance of its various professional play-out and other broadcast audio products, where transparent and accurate level control is fundamental in delivering best performance.

Announcing the agreement, P Squared director, Liam Burke said: "We supply complete studio packages to schools and colleges which are then used to produce pre-recorded programming or to create and up-load podcasts and streaming audio.  Whereas simple compressor limiters are tricky to set up and easy to tamper with, the Audessence PodBlaster neatly fills the gap between such designs and the over-expensive alternative of a full-broadcast standard audio processor.  As a result, the flexibility and tamper-proof design of the PodBlaster makes it ideal for many of our customers.  For larger broadcasters, we think the Audessence ALPS product range also has a great deal to offer, particularly for use at remote automated sites and for voice-tracking applications".

Audessence Sales and Marketing Director, Graham Sloggett, added: "For many years, I've know P Squared as an innovative company providing broadcasters with products that meet their professional needs.  Now Audessence is up and running, I'm really pleased that Liam and his colleagues at P Squared think so highly of our new product range.  We look forward to developing our working relationship with the company further as our product range expands over the coming months and years".

Audessence is currently developing other business relationships with broadcasters and suppliers around the world.  The company expects to sign further distributor agreements over the next few months.
