Audessence ProCoder is now building an impressive repeat customer list including BBC World Service.
A great value FM processor and stereo encoder that can save you money whether your station is a big network keen to solve the dilemma of where to locate your favourite multiband audio processor - or a smaller broadcaster looking to broadcast a loud signal without losing clarity and quality.
Multiband processors can be located at the studio for convenience whilst obtaining better peak control (and therefore more loudness) at one or many FM transmitter sites using ProCoder's 'transparent mode' with LF- and HF- overshoot inhibiting algorithms. All the usual limiting and clipping functions for peak control that you'd expect to find are there too, including fully overshoot compensated 15kHz lowpass filters.
Latest software now includes ITU-412 MPX power limiter.
The broadcast audio processor section also has a full range of tools for 'stand-alone' use including our world-renowned leveller, plus effective presence and brightness enhancers to make sure your signal stands out. ProCoder delivers typical Audessence clarity and fidelity on voices and music, but this box has the capability to go loud as well!

Adding complete front-panel control features, the ALPS-2 audio leveller is ideally suited to dynamic operating environments, such as outside broadcasts, where instant local adjustment of sound parameters may be required. ALPS-3
Taking control to the next level, the ALPS-3 broadcast audio processor features full remote-control via GPI (contact closure), Internet (IP/Ethernet) and RS-232 serial & Modem. A library of Factory presets for every application is provided, and there is room to store scores of custom User presets in the 2Mb of built-in Flash memory. For situations where audio parameters need to be changed on a regular basis, fully-flexible scheduling software is provided. All processing parameters can be remotely altered by automation systems to reflect changes in broadcast content.

These directional couplers allow directional sampling of Forward and Refelected RF signals on antenna feeder lines. Verify compliance with ofcom, FCC, or other national telecommunications regulator's specifications for radiated power, harmonics and spurious emissions easily, accurately and repeatably.
Also an essential tool for solving interference problems on shared sites, able to demonstrate that spurious emissions are not being generated in the system they are monitoring.
